Rosa Lee Green Reed, 83, of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday, December 01, 2011 at her residence. She was a native of Coffee County and a longtime resident of Rutherford County for over forty nine years. She retired from Amtrol Mfg and was a member of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Ellis Green and Beulah Cawthorn Green; husband, Clarence L. Reed; son, Ralph Marlon Espy; brothers, Lillard Goodloe Green and Clarence Green; sister, Mattie Mae Green Espy. She is survived by her son, Glenn (Bridgette Wiser) Espy of Beech Grove; daughters, Brenda (Terry) Sanchez of Murfreesboro, Sharon Dean Pruitt of McMinnville and Velma Mullins of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Kendall Gilley, Renee Mayo, Anne Hope Pruitt, Angela Mullins, David Lee Mullins and Nicholas Jay Smith and five great-grandchildren; brother, Medford (Diane) Green of Beechgrove; sister, Mary Green (Dean) Wallace of Murfreesboro; several loving nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, December 03, 2011 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Chaplain Marshall Gupton officiating. Burial to follow at Thyatira Cemetery. Family and friends will be pallbearers.
