Jean Coleman Fanning, 81 of Murfreesboro went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus, Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Fanning was born in Little Lot, TN to the late Leonard and Maurine Easley Coleman. She was a member of Tusculum Cumberland Presbyterian Church and retired from the US Government. Mrs. Fanning was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Larry Coleman. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty one years Clifford Fanning; son, Ken (Lori) Fanning of Murfreesboro; the love of her life, her grandson, Colton Fanning; brother, Albert Coleman of Bellevue; sisters, Joyce Warbington of Bellevue and Nancy Murphree of Franklin.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be Friday, June 24, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Little Lot Cemetery in Centerville, TN with Bro. Bill McDonald officiating. Burial to follow.
