Obituary of Lorraine M. Pulcastro

Lorraine M. Pulcastro, 82, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016. She was a native of the Hudson River Valley in New York and daughter of the late Anna and Lance Lunt. Lorraine was also preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Pulcastro, her sister Margaret Kellner and brother, Jack Lunt. Lorraine is survived by her three children, Mary Schneider (Peter) of Murfreesboro, Anthony Pulcastro of Raleigh, NC and John Pulcastro (Jessica) of Pittsburgh, PA. She was “Gram” to six Grandchildren: Sarah Busman (Joshua), Katie Schneider, Jason Pulcastro (Sara), Anthony Pulcastro (Kathleen) and Hannah and Emily Pulcastro and “Great Gram” to Jack, Grace and Kensi Pulcastro. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Kurtz (Dan) of Montgomery, NY. Lorraine loved animals (especially her little dog, Cho Cho), and was a caregiver and retired school cook. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the staff of NHC, Caris Hospice and Mindful Care all of Murfreesboro for providing such compassionate care. Donations may be made in memory of Lorraine Pulcastro to your local Alzheimer’s Association chapter. Murfreesboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. **Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Church of St. Mary in Fishkill, NY and burial to follow at Fishkill Rual Cemetery in Fishkill, NY.**
