He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother P. Robert and Loretta McGrath and his mother R. Karol McGrath.
He is survived by his wife, Helen T. McGrath; sons, Matthew (Norma) McGrath, Jason (Andrea) McGrath; grandchildren, Joey, Matthew, Brady, Tyler and Hannah; brother Michael (Karla) McGrath; sister Robin (Rick) Fritz; niece Melissa Fritz; and nephew Brad Fritz.
