David Lee McCreery, 71 of Murfreesboro passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011 at his home. He was born in Toledo, Ohio. David was a longtime employee of Messick Home Care and a professional musician for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen Harold McCreery and Nadine Mildred Osborn McCreery; brother, Chet McCreery. He is survived by his wife, Ginger McCreery; son, Jesse (Lindsey) McCreery of Huntsville, AL; daughters, Hannah McCreery of Knoxville and Rachel McCreery of Murfreesboro; sister, Nona (Bill) Nemec of Brooksville, FL; nephew and nieces.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, September 30, 2011 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 10:00 am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Dan Brown officiating. Burial to follow at Beechgrove Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alive Hospice.
