Obituary of Robert Patrick Murphy

Robert (Bob) Patrick Murphy, age 77, of Murfreesboro passed away on June 16, 2017. He was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County. He retired from Aladdin Industries with 43 years service.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jessie Hopkins Murphy, his brothers Wayne Murphy and Billy Murphy. He is survived by his wife Sandra McKown Murphy, sons Andy Murphy of California and Brian (Annette) Murphy of Murfreesboro, daughter Stephanie (Steve) Jones of Murfreesboro, four grandchildren BJ Murphy, Daniel Murphy, Mackenzie Murphy and Stephen Jones, and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow with sons, son-in-law, and grandsons serving as pallbearers.
