Obituary of Clara Bell Harris Arnold

Clara Bell Harris Arnold, 92, of Lascassas, passed from this life to the arms of Jesus on July 13th, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Gladys Williams Harris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years, Sam Benton Arnold, her daughter, Sandra Kay Arnold Lewis, and her brother, James Clyde Harris.

She is survived by her daughter, Anita (James) Hindsley, grandchildren, Kasha (Jay) Rittenberry, Ethan and Alana Hindsley, two great-granddaughters, Abby and Sara Kate Rittenberry, daughter in love, Judy McKnight, sister, Lorene Givens, and special friend Barbara Rittenberry. She is also survived by a son, Howard Arnold. 

She was a member of Milton Church of Christ, and was retired from Rutherford Hospital. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers, but most of all, cooking Sunday dinners for her family, and anyone else that needed a hot meal and a hug. Her loving and compassionate heart will live on in her families hearts forever. 

A Special thank you to the Arbors for all the loving care she received, and to her friend Mary Jean Smith for her weekly cards that brightened her day so much.

Pall bearers will be Mike Lewis, Brent Perry, Mitch Young, Matthew Perry, Keith Harris and Ethan Anderson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 12:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Interment will be at Bradley Creek Cemetery.
