Obituary of Sandra Jean Murphy
Sandra Jean Murphy, age 75, of Murfreesboro passed away on August 16, 2017. She was a longtime resident of Rutherford County.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents: James T. and Mattie Lankford McKown, husband: Robert (Bob) Murphy, sisters: Barbara Adams, Martha Mosteller, and Carol Loyd.
She was survived by her sons: Andy Murphy of California, Brian (Annette) Murphy of Murfreesboro, daughter: Stephanie (Steve) Jones of Murfreesboro, grandchildren: BJ Murphy, Daniel Murphy, Mackenzie Murphy, and Stephen Jones, and a sister: Charlotte Brown.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, John Smith officiating. Burial will follow with sons, son-in-law, and grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 4-8 pm.
