Obituary of Vanessa Gail Carlson
Vanessa Gail Carlson, age 53, of Murfreesboro passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 after a long struggle with kidney disease and diabetes. She was a graduate of Riverdale High School, Class of 1983.
Preceded in death by her parents: Stanley and Winnie Watson Bowman, husband: Robert Carlson, daughter: Sharon Miller, brother: Jesse “Bob” Mullins, brother-in-law: Ray Lane.
Survived by daughters, Amber Carlson and Emily Carlson, sisters: Helen (Don) Javes, Shirley (Charlie) Thomas, Brenda Lane, Dorothy (Harrold) Huddleston, brothers: A.J. (Wa) Mullins, Donald (Cathy) Mullins, Charles (Sandra) Mullins, and 67 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 4-8 pm. Services will be Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 1:00 pm with interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Pastor Franklin Brown officiating.
