Sarah E. McClanahan, age 82, of Murfreesboro passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Ellis and Bessie Jones Burnett, husband: Charles McClanahan, daughter: Donna McClanahan, brother: Carl Burnett and a granddaughter: Ellen Marie Ayers.
She is survived by daughters: Mary Ayers and Pamala McClanahan (Tony) Underwood, sister: Mary (Glenn) Sewell, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Sarah was a member of the Church of Christ and retired from General Electric.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 10-1:30pm with service to follow at 1:30pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Brother Marty Neal officiating.
