Obituary of James Marion Cook
Dr. James Marion Cook, age 76 of Christiana, TN. passed away on Monday December 4, 2017. A native of Franklin, Ky. He was the son of the late James and Beatrice Edens Cook of Ky.
James is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jean Cook of Christiana, sons: James M Cook II of Christiana, Jeffrey M Cook of Murfreesboro, Joseph M Cook of Woodbury, daughter: Jeannie Cook of Murfreesboro, brothers: Jonathan Cook, Joel Cook, Tim Cook, sisters: JoAnna Snoddy, Mary Janice Groves, Martha Jane Burnley, Beth Whelan all of Franklin Ky. and 6 grandchildren.
Dr. Cook taught in the Physic’s Department at M.T.S.U for 44 years.
Visitation will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 6-8pm. Service will be Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 2pm. Officiating with be Elder Gale Snoddy. Graveside Service will be held Sunday Decamber 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Miller Cemetery, Christiana, TN. Murfreesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services 615-896-2229
