Obituary of Oscar Daymon Bean
Mr. Oscar Daymon Bean, 70, of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday, December 6th, 2017 peacefully at his residence. A Grundy County native, Mr. Bean was the son of the late Raymond and Dora Nunley Bean.
Mr. Bean was 1956 graduate of Tullahoma High School, where his Basketball talents garnered scholarship offers from such illustrious institutions as Sewanee College. Off the court, his work ethic earned him a career at CSX Railroad, from which he retired after more than 431/2 decorated years of service.
Mr. Bean is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Patsy; his daughters, Kimberly Allen of Florida and Heather Hobbs of Nashville; his grandson, Lee Allen of Virginia; his granddaughters Jillian and Hailey Hobbs, both of Nashville; as well as one brother and four sisters.
