E. Wayne Henry, Jr, age 84, of Murfreesboro, passed away Friday, July 20, 2007 at the Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Born in Morgantown, West Virginia he was a resident of Murfreesboro for 26 years. Mr. Henry was a retired mining engineer with the United States Steel Company and a member of the Christiana Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Ellsworth Wayne and Mildred Rhodes Henry. He is survived by his wife, Milly Henry of Murfreesboro; daughter Karen (Phil) Scott of Germantown; grandsons, Christopher Scott of Linthicum, MD and David Scott of Germantown.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Christiana Presbyterian Church with Rev. Carol Knight officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Christiana Presbyterian Church.
