Obituary of William Steven Gregory, Jr
William Steven Gregory, Jr “Steve” age 68, went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2018. He was a member of the Hillview Baptist Church. He was a dedicated singer and songwriter who often performed in his church. He was an avid outdoorsman and a devoted U. T. Fan. Most of all he was a loving son, father, grandfather and brother. He served in the Army as an intelligence personnel. Steve was a Jackson police, Madison County, Tn sheriff dept officer and undercover drug task force agent.
Preceded in death by his sister, Lee Gregory. Survived by his parents, Bill and Petey Gregory of Jackson, TN, children; Steven Gregory III, Jason Gregory “Laura”, and Lindsay Stamm “Craig”, brother, Lawrence Gregory, sister Molly Wright ”Joel”, grandchildren; Alex Gregory, Will Gregory and Taylor Stamm.
Visitation Thursday November 1, 2018 at 5:30 p.m., with a Memorial Service to follow at 6:30 p.m. at the Hillview Baptist Church 3133 Lascassas Pk, Murfreesboro, TN 37130.
Memorials may be made to the Hillview Baptist Church in his memory.
