Dear Family of my sweet, sweet precious friend Sheila! I am so, so sorry to hear so late of your loss.I "just" found out of her passing from our 2012 high school reunion mailout. I am a high school friend and I had recently gotten a card from her after I contacted her from the information that our high school reunion committee had sent us. This was for the 2008 reunion. That Christmas we corresponded. She and her first husband Freddie actually went to Georgia and stood up for my husband and I to get married in 1961, and we had been great friends in school. I missed seeing her all those years and was so thrilled to once again find her, and then to lose her again. But I know I will one day see her again. I love the picture.. still so beautiful. I was hoping to visit with her again in person. But just wanted you to know I share your loss of my friend. God bless each one of you. Donna Bledsoe Spencer and David Spencer

Dear Mama, I miss you so very much.I do not understand why God took you so soon, but I know you missed Daddy. I try to have a vision of you being there in heaven, and I keep seeing you picking flowers and making arrangements. I suppose God needed you to prepare for the upcoming event.I know that God willing we shall all see you soon. I bet you can not believe your eyes.I told you so. I hope that you have everything there that you have ever dreamed of or wanted. I prayed for God to give you the most beautiful things that you could keep forever. I know you are busy meeting everyone and visiting with loved ones.. Wow, I bet Timothy, Granny Reed, and Granddaddy are glad to see you. You look beautiful in this picture! I love you with all my heart! Your daughter Paula

Sheila was such an amazing woman who touched the hearts of all who knew her. She will always have a very special place in my heart and the hearts of my children. Her smile could light a room and her ready laugh always made us smile. She was one of the rare people who always thought of others first. She is now in a better place but we here will miss her greatly.
