We just now learned of the passing of Dr. Staley and wanted to share our appreciation for her kind care to us during some difficult family time some 12 years ago. Her love for the Lord and for us was very evident. We will never forget her kindness and care. May the Lord give you peace as you remember her.

Rev. James and your family,
Please accept my condolences in the loss of this precious one. Wanda was one of the sweetest ladies that I have ever met.
I knew her through the water aerobics class at Sports Com. There were some times that she couldn't quite get her foot up on the ladder to get out of the pool and I and others would help her just a little and she was so grateful and it was nothing.
I watched you Rev. James as you faithfully brought her and then sat poolside while she did her exercises, not leaving her for a moment. That was love.
I missed her after she stopped coming and I haven't been in quite a while myself. I hate that I was not able to be there for her service today, I am sick and not sure if I'm contagious and the wind was blowing today and a little chilly, but I was there in spirit.
God bless you all is my prayer.

What a great picture of Wanda!!
I send my deepest sympathy to Jim and the rest of the family. It has been my joy and pleasure to spend many mealtimes with Wanda at AdamsPlace and always enjoyed sharing with her our mutual interests in schooling, good foods, and life in general. Jim was one of the best caregivers I have ever seen or known and I know that you all must be satisfied that all was done for her that could possibly have been done. Her life, though hampered with illness since I have known her, was enriched by her local and extended family and I could tell that she appreciated it all. She wanted for nothing, from the very best room possible to her own Christmas tree to the chance to watch good things on television and on and on and on. I shall miss her. Sincerely, Steve Cates

I’m so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort help you during this difficult time.
(2 Corinthians 1:3,4 & Psalms 83:18). Jesus taught us to pray for God’s Kingdom to come because He knew it would be able to solve all mankind’s problems even death. (Revelation 21:4,5 & Daniel 2:44).

Jim, I am so sorry for your loss. I was an education faculty member at MSU and always enjoyed my contacts with Wanda. I remember her gentle smile, twinkling eyes, and her dedication to her students. She was a lovely person. I also remember your dedication to her and willingness to drive her to her off-campus classes!! We worshipped together at First United Methodist Church in Lexington for a few years. Please know that I am praying for you and your family. Mary Anne Pollock
