Tony King, 49, of the Midland community, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at his home. He was a longtime resident of Rutherford County. He worked for Ross Construction and attended Midland Baptist Church. Tony was preceded in death by his father, James Kenneth King. He is survived by his mother, Billie Sue King of Midland; son, Corey King of Murfreesboro; daughters, Kristen (Kurt) Bailey of Murfreesboro and Heather Wilson of Woodbury; four grandchildren; brother, Terry King of Bell Buckle and niece, Samantha King of Shelbyville. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Pulley, Bro Willis Pope and Bro. Dewey Smith officiating. Burial will be at Smotherman Cemetery. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
