Gene Roden, age 58, of Christiana, passed away at his residence Saturday, August 18, 2007. He was born in Morgan county, Alabama to the late Hillie Arnold and Mattie Lou Cameron Roden. Mr. Roden worked for Fluor Daniels and was member of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Roden is survived by his wife, Brenda Roden of Christiana; sons, Michael Roden of Shelbyville, Christopher Roden of Murfreesboro and Timothy Roden of Christiana; daughters, Jennifer Hudson of Columbia and Brandi Roden of Christiana; sisters, Carolyn Holt and Cathy Johnson, both of Alabama; brother, Bruce Roden of Biloxi, MS; grandchildren, Cassandra, Andrew, Victoria, Austin, Chelsea and Christopher.
Memorial service to be Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at 7:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Long officiating. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, August 22, 2007, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
