"Go ahead caller" - was one of Randy's many catchphrases that echo in my head. I worked with Randy in OCOM for several years, hand in hand. He was a great man with his own quirks, like any of us. Randy always loved to dive into challenges head on, with enthusiasm that has since been unrivaled.

Our deepest condolences to Ken, Karen, Phil and family from Randy's Canadian family.
We are so going to miss the "big guy". We have so many great memories of when he lived up here. He was bigger than life! He spoke his mind(whether you wanted to hear it or not), he loved his work, he loved to eat, he loved parties, but most of all, he loved people and especially kids. He loved to take one of our kids aside and teach them something new(whether they liked it or not). But mostly he liked to know what was going on in our family, because he was genuinely interested. Our children remember him fondly.
After Randy moved back to Tennessee, for years he would make annual trips back for a visit and to catch up. Finally those trips stopped and we lost touch for a time.
After his stroke, we made a trip to Nashville in October 2019 to visit with Randy in the hospital. We found the big guy we knew, weak, but the same big guy! It was a great reacquaintance. We have been able to stay in close touch till about four days before he passed. What a blessing it has been be close again. What a blessing it has been to know a man that had such great love for God and for people.
We will miss you sorely big guy!

Randy was my uncle by marriage to Gloria. He always was laughing and always had a smile. I’m sure he’s singing in heaven. So sorry for everyone’s loss I know we all have good memories of him that will live on.

We have only known Randy for a short time but felt like family from day one . He will be deeply missed . He would always call my husband Ricky tick and me smiley and he knew how to put a smile on your face . He loved his family and friends . He will definitely be missed.

David and I are praying for your family. We have great memories of Randy. Our favorite memories include seeing him on one of his motorcycles. He rods with, how shall we put this...confidemce, lots of confidence, ha! Loved his laugh and million dollar smile! And, most recently, loved seeing him persevere with health problems, and come to worship His Lord and Savior when he could. He will definitely be missed. Love, David and Kathy Lawrence
