Obituary of Bobbye Wysor Schneider
Please share a memory of Bobbye to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bobbye Wysor Schneider passed away on April 5, 2021, at Park View Meadows Assisted Living in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at the age of 97. At her request, no funeral service is planned.
Bobbye was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, George Schneider. She is survived by her son, Anthony Schneider (Jean) of Spring Hill, Florida and her daughter, Sally Schneider (Jay Fusco) of Murfreesboro: grandchildren: Jonathan Erwin (Jennifer), Murfreesboro: Wendy Santore (Mike), Lutz, Florida; and Scott Schneider (Shira), North Carolina. She also had seven great-grandchildren: Shelby, Alison, Sarah, Colin, Katie, Myah, and Teddy (aged 1).
Bobbye grew up in and was a life-long resident of Tullahoma, Tennessee, except for those times and places elsewhere that she spent as an Army wife, which included Germany, Alabama, Texas, and Georgia. She was primarily a home-maker, but worked for ten years at the UT Agricultural Extension Service in Manchester. She was also a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of Tullahoma. When she moved to Murfreesboro, she attended the Anne Huggins Sunday School class at First United Methodist Church for several years, until she moved to Park View Meadows Assisted Living in 2012.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alive Hospice or the Friends of Linebaugh Library, who support Linebaugh Library and its staff with special purchases and programming. We give our thanks to Lisa Robert and the library’s bookmobile, who faithfully brought books to her every week throughout her many years at Park View Meadows. She was always, always a reader, and raised her children to be the same. The family is very appreciative of the caring staff at Park View Meadows, Alive Hospice, and Linebaugh Library.
