Obituary of Alex Christopher Farris

Alex Christopher Farris, age 29, of Rockvale, Tennessee went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 11, 2022. He was born on December 18, 1992. He is survived by his son, Samuel Hopkins Farris; parents Michael and Linda Kelli Farris Lamb; Grandmother Linda Fay Harris Farris; siblings Nathan (Laura) Lamb and Tyler Lamb; niece Katie Lamb and many loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather William H. “Billy” Farris, Charles Williams and Josephine Lamb all of Rockvale. Alex attended Crescent Church of Christ in Barfield and the City Light Church of Chattanooga. He had a great love of the Lord and loved witnessing to others about how great the Lord had been to him. He worked as a mentor at Journey Pure Recovery. Alex loved life and was always up for adventure. From an early age, Alex spent all his time outdoors; horse-back riding, hunting, and fishing with his Poppa. He loved watching sports and always cheered for LSU. He never met a stranger, and his big heart would never allow him to deny anyone in need. Alex loved spending time with his family and friends especially his son Sam who he would often be found in the floor playing with and doing just about anything to get Sam to laugh. Funeral services will be held at the Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Sunday, May 15, 2022 with visitation from 12-3 and funeral at 3 pm, preceded with burial at the Farris Cemetery in Rockvale.
