Charles E. Bryson Jr. was born to the late Charlie Bryson and Margaret Hoover in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on June 24, 1938. He had one brother, the late Billy Bryson. He attended Wilson Hill the Baptist Church of Christ, where he became a member and deacon at an early age. He graduated from the University of Middle Tennessee and became a project engineer at Chromalox, where he worked for 41 years. He went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at age 84.
Charles was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his best friend, Carolyn Ann Brothers on December 28, 1973. They were married for 48 beautiful years. Charles loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren. Their family includes children Kenneth and wife Carol Bryson, Sharon Dawn Steib, Randy and wife Cindy Harrell, and Lori and husband Marlan Pelham. Their grandchildren are Keith Bryson, Cayla Arnold, Kathy Dryden, Taryn Barnes, Amie, Michael and Kyle Seals, Ashley Mallela, Haley, Nathan, and Rylee Pelham. Charles was always a rock for his family and a living testimony of the goodness of God. When he lost his sight, he still helped us see the good around us. When he lost his ability to walk, he still showed us what it looks like to walk closely with the Lord. Once he knew his life here on earth was coming to an end, he continued to point us to an Everlasting Life with our Creator and Savior.
Visitation with the family will be 10:30am until 3:00pm Saturday, July30, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 3:00pm, Elders Chad Hale and Mike Bynum officiating. Burial to follow at Coleman Cemetery.
