Mildred Gardner “Millie” Wells, age 84, passed away Tuesday, October 25th, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Frank D. Wells Sr., her son, David Scott Wells, grandchild Lindsey Foland, her mother, father, and 4 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children: Frank D. (Randa) Wells Jr., Judy Foland, Debra (Gary) Casteel, Vicki (Timothy) Thompson, John (Hope) Wells, and Bethany (Robert) True; grandchildren Katelyn (Ruben) Wells, Jonathan Wells, Mandy McCarter, Bryan (Melissa) Rouster, Savannah (Nathaniel) Moellenberg, Jeremiah Thompson, Samara Soyars, Lauren (Logan) Bailey, Nicholas (Sophie) True, Hannah Wells, 12 great grandchildren, her sister Pat Buckler and many nieces and nephews.
Millie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to anyone she met. She was lovingly known as Grandma, Grammy, and Nanny to her grandkids. She loved the Lord with all her might and loved to attend World Outreach Church but was also a loyal and frequent viewer of Shepard’s Chapel (Pastor Arnold Murray). She loved Elvis, Reece’s Peanut Butter blasts from Sonic, and spending time with her family, singing hymns, dancing with glee and making new friends. She was a fierce patriotic America lover and never missed a chance to vote. She made many friends at Creekside at Three Rivers Memory Care and everyone who knew her, loved her. She left a legacy of life well lived to all who were touched by her.
Visitation with the family will be 10:00am until 12:30 pm, Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm at Evergreen Cemetery.
