Julian H. Commander Skip AKA Cowboy, age 65 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his father, Julian Harris Commander Jr., and brother, Mike Commander.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tasha Rene Commander; mother, Dorothy Mae Allen; sister, June Commander; brothers, Joe Hewitt; Tommy Hewitt; and uncle Rocky Allen. There are several other siblings and their wives and nieces and nephews. Special thanks to BJ Smotherman; mother-in-law, Jackie Anderson; Father-in-law, Tony Anderson; brother-in-law, Randy Gipson; and sister-in-law, Lisa Gipson.
Skip was a good man and very much loved by everyone and known by many.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Cowpunchers Cowboy Church, 1624 Highway 41A North, Shelbyville, TN 37160 on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 3pm. TJ Burton will be officiating the service. We welcome anyone who would like to speak.
