Warren Lindsey Byrd, age 56, of Indian Mound, TN, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Alvin C. York VA Hospital. Mr. Byrd was born in Pulaski, TN. He was a member of The Church and retired veteran of the US Army. Mr. Byrd was preceded in death by his father, Lindsey Byrd; stepfather, James D. Taylor. He is survived by his mother, Gladys Taylor of Murfreesboro; daughter, Tiffany (Daniel) Cutler of Ft. Stewart, GA; brother, Anthony Byrd of Springfield, TN; sister, Judy (Robert) Weyler of Manchester; brother, Randy (Jodi) Byrd of Ocala, FL; brother, Danny (Debbie) Byrd of Smyrna; several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Smith officiating. Burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Garden with full military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301, Attn: Gift Processing.
