Melinda Diane Adams, age 39, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023, born in Murfreesboro, TN May 5, 1984 to Thomas and Brenda Adams of Christiana, TN.
Preceded in death by father Clyde Thomas Adams; grandparents Dexter Adams Sr. and Mammie Louise Harrell Adams, and Batey T. Herrod and Alma Herrod.
She is survived by son Hayden Adams; Mother Brenda H. Adams; sister Christy (Mike) Hicks; niece Chelsie Hicks; uncles John (Sharon) Herrod and Dexter Adams; aunts Christine Adams Scheide and Moranda Adams and many cousins.
Melinda was a graduate of Riverdale High School and earned her B.S. at M.T.S.U. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was always smiling and laughing and her joy was very contagious. She was happiest enjoying God’s creation. Spending time camping with horses and her favorite mule Fiona was one of her favorite ways to do that.
She loved to dance, and you might find her line dancing or clogging with The Rocky Valley Cloggers.
Her faith was very strong, and she let her light shine brightly to those around her. She will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life with a pot luck lunch will be held 12:30 Friday, September 22, 2023 at Cason Trail Greenway Park, Trailhead 1100 Cason Trail, Murfreesboro, TN 37128.
