My favorite memory of Aunt B was all the times she took us to Chuck E Cheese. I feel like I can speak for all the cousins/my sisters and say when she took us, we felt like millionaires with all the tokens she bought us. Aunt B would guard the table and watch our belongings while we lived our best lives and played games.

To: Jo Hughes and the whole family.
We met Barbara many years ago through our business; The Gold Rush, and right away we became friends. It was welcoming to us to see her walk through the door. She was such a pleasant person and she appealed to our Gold Rush Family. We shared the last name though we were no kin.
We are very sorry for her passing, however, we know her faith will deliver her to God’s door. We will not be able to be at the service, due to prior commitments. We will be taking Rhonda’s sister to doctor appointments, etc, in Nashville.
We are very glad she was a part of our lives.
God bless, Robert and Rhonda Ellis

Aunt B is what I called Barbara. One of her nieces, Breon Parker, is my best friend for over 20 years. She always talked about Aunt B with such joy. Aunt B and I were Facebook friends and she’d always comment on my son’s pictures about how cute and special he was. I’ll definitely miss that because her words meant a lot to me.
Wishing her family peace to heal their hearts and bring them comfort.
With Love,
Jessie (Jess Chan)

I am very sorry to learn of Barbara's passing. She was so dear to so many! She was a patient of mine when I worked as a dental hygienist. I looked forward to her visits. She absolutely adored her family and friends. May God comfort you all!
