Ruth I. Brown, 82, of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2007 at her residence. She was born in Sioux Center, IA to the late John and Elsie Vanderburg and was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her sisters; Ann VanDerPloeg and Josephine Haverhals. Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Charles C. Brown of Murfreesboro; her daughters; Dr. Nancy L. Brown of Denver, CO and Pam Quaintance of Murfreesboro; four grandchildren; Isabella J. Cass, Thomas C. Roberts, Sarah A. Roberts, and Maria Quaintance. A Memorial Service with the family will be Monday, October 8, 2007 beginning at 2:00 pm with Chaplain Perry Muse officiating at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
