Elaine Fay Smith, age 74, of Warren, Ohio, went to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday morning, December 31, 2023. She was born March 19, 1949 in Warren, Ohio. The daughter of Reino Komsie and Ellen Beer-Komsie-McKelvey. She was a 1967 graduate of Lakeview High School. Elaine was a homemaker during her married life and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to play cards and spend time with family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Elaine is preceded in death by one grandson, Harley Hamilton, parents Reino and Ellen Komsie and brother, Douglas "Doug" Komsie. She is survived by her high school sweetheart of 56 years, Daryl Smith Sr. Two daughters, Thresea (Steve) Hamilton of Qulin, MO and Kimberly "Kim" Anderson of Warren, OH. 2 sons, Daryl (Brandy) Smith of Eagleville, TN and Christopher "Chris" (Lori) Smith of Niles, OH. she is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 unborn great grandchildren. 1 brother, 4 sisters and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on 1/13/2024 from 3PM - 5 PM at New Life Church located at 2088 Tibbett's Wick Rd, Girard, OH, 44420. We will always carry your memory in our hearts Elaine. Goodbye and God speed to a wonderful sister, wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, aunt and friend.
