I was Kathy’s hairstylist for the last 4 years. I will never forget her coming and sitting in my chair for the first time saying “I am ready to feel like myself” and she left with a head of purple hair! I will never forget the way she beamed when she saw herself. Kathy wore so many hats, but the hat she took most seriously was her caregiver hat. She cared for everyone around her. She had the biggest heart, and worked so hard. My heart is heavy with grief for her family, and the stories I’ve heard of you all she loved you very very much. Her legacy lives on through the love she left everywhere she went.

Karma sure does have a harsh way of showing herself, in time. Crushed under a physical representation of her own greed is almost poetic! An empty life, void of any meaningful relationships, for an awful person who died alone at 70. There’s a reason this montage is mostly dogs and pictures of her possessions and failed relationships. Others pictured are 2+ DECADES old or entirely of other people (adjacent relatives) and their lives because she had an empty life with awful relationships and prioritized ego over everything. Sad life.

I had the pleasure of working with Kathy for the past three years. She was a delight to work with as well as reliable and focused. She held a very significant position in the company and I could always trust what she told me. I will miss working with her.

I will always remember when Kathy called me & said she needed to borrow a kid (my son Austin) to take to a family picnic for Gibson guitars … I said well do I get to come too ? She said “oh well yes, of course!” So she flew us to Nashville & we explored the city for a week & got to see all the cool, legendary sites & yes, we took him into Tootsies …. Then we got a tour of the main Gibson office (which Austin & I both thought was so cool); she gave him a guitar & it was such a fun & memorable trip.
Kathy, you will be greatly missed but never forgotten & I know my parents were there to welcome you into Heaven, along with so many other relatives … until we meet again.
Rest in peace sweet cousin
Love, Beth

Kathy, oh so many memories. From your careers at Dana where my dad (Tom), 2 uncles and brother also worked, Gibson Guitars and Cumberland Pharma where you were awarded the President Club Award.
You are THE most trusted mentor I have whether for family, financial everything (personal, business) and bucket list!! :) You are the definition of servant leadership for your family, work and everyone you met.
You have been the rock for your family, ensuring they have and will always be taken care of .... I am honored by your confidence to fulfill your promise.
Such a legacy for us all to cherish and aspire to continue in your honor.
Love Terry
