William Phillip "Phil" Boykin, 73, of Rockvale, passed away at home on February 15, 2024.
Born in Sheffield, Alabama, Phil was the son of William Lloyd Boykin and Mattie Kathleen Bates-Boykin. He found faith and community as a member of the Church of Christ. Phillip retired from the Nissan Assembly Plant in Smyrna, Tennessee. He loved animals, music, was an avid collector, and enjoyed conversations.
Phil was predeceased by his son, David Phillip Boykin.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Kay Boykin; sons, Mark (Bonnie) Boykin and Daniel Alan Boykin; and his two grandchildren, Jacob David Boykin and Katelyn Ella Boykin.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Friends and family will be notified.
