Obituary of Marie Bingham

Marie Bingham, age 94 of Christiana, TN passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024.
She was born September 30, 1929, in Christiana, TN to the late Charles and Anna Walker Thomas.
Mrs. Bingham was a Baptist and a lifelong resident of Christiana.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Eugene Bingham, Parents, Charles Arnold Thomas, and Annie Clary Walker Thomas, Siblings: Lester “Buck” Thomas, Louise Thomas Arnold, Luke Thomas, Charles Thomas, Sr., Geneva Thomas Jacobs, Margaret Thomas, Mary Lee Thomas Rawlings, Ophelia Thomas Soper, Omar Thomas, and William Paul “Pete” Thomas.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews, special caregivers’ niece, Carol and David Cooper and faithful cousin Myra Pruitt.
Marie deeply loved her large family and cared for each of her nieces and nephews and their families.
Marie was employed by Community Care for many years. After her retirement she enjoyed volunteering at the Midland Journey of Hope.
Visitation with the family will be at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 11am – 1pm with graveside service to follow at Hazel Cemetery in Bell Buckle, TN at 2pm with Pastor Jeff Adcock officiating.
Family members will be pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Midland Journey of Hope in Marie’s name.
