Jackie R. Miller (Jack), age 77 of Christiana, TN passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024.
Jack was born in Sevier County, TN in 1946 to the late Bill and Ruth Miller of Seymour, TN.
Also preceded in death by his brother, Orville Gene (Mary Ruth) Miller, and infant son, Mark Anthony Miller.
He is survived by the love of his life, Peggy Miller of 58 years; sons, Andrew (Lori) Miller; Matthew (Deena) Miller; daughter, Tonya (Steve) Haskins; grandchildren, Victoria Fausnaught; Samuel Haskins; Wyatt Miller; Weston Miller; McCade Miller; Dylan Stevens; Shelby Helton; great grandchildren, Olivia; Gunner; Beckett; and Kollyns.
A member of One Church Barfield. He was ordained at Florence Baptist Church and served many years as deacon at Stones River Baptist Church in Smyrna, TN.
Mr. Jack enjoyed mowing his yard, driving Bus 206 for Rutherford County Schools filled with his kids. He held memberships in Stones River AACA car club, Early Ford V-8 club, Ferguson Enthusiasts of North America. Mr. Jack enjoyed playing with his antique police car and tractor.
Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 2pm – 6pm with the service to follow at 6pm. Pastor W.D. Thompson will be officiating. Interment will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Berry Highland South Cemetery in Seymour, TN.
