Michael Bruce Davidson, age 58 of Bell Buckle, TN passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.
Mike was born the youngest child of Madell and Joy Davidson on September 1, 1965 in Nashville, TN. He was a lifelong resident in the Nashville area.
During his life, Mike had several different jobs – brick layer, welder, commercial electrician, and general maintenance technician. There weren’t many things Mike couldn’t fix as long as he had the correct tool in his hand.
Mike married his the love of his life and best friend, Stephanie, in 2016. Together, they built a life they both loved.
Mike was preceded in death by his father; James Madell Davidson; brother James Steven Davidson; and faithful furry companion Charlie.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie Leach Davidson; daughter, Kaylea Davidson; grandson, Tzion Davidson; mother, Joy Davidson; sisters, Luann (Stan Parkinson) Davidson, Becky (Brian) Phillips; Father and Mother-in-law, Bill and Paula Leach; Maternal Grandmother-in-law, Lela “Granny” McAfee; nephews, Andy (Shelly) Phillips, Remington Leach, Shane Jr. Leach, and Ian Leach; nieces, Haley Bates, Lakelee Leach, and Evelyn Leach; brothers-in-law, Shane (Melissa) Leach and Scott (Erica Bates) Leach and several lifelong friends.
Mike liked to fish for anything he could catch and found peace by floating rivers in his kayak. Later in life, Mike took up the hobby of building furniture. He would build whatever Stephanie requested, sometimes with a few modifications. Mike was a 5-Star restaurant caliber chef and would often show his love for people by cooking them a delicious meal. During the fall, he could almost always be found in his recliner watching Auburn Tigers or Tennessee Titans football. After marrying Stephanie, he caught the travel bug and was always up for going on a trip – whether in be a simple day trip or a week at Disney World with 3 young kids under the age of 6 (brave man), or spending 2 weeks touring the state of Alaska by ship, plane, helicopter, train, bus, and car. Although he loved to travel, his favorite place to be was at home with his wife and his new best furry friend, Frankie.
Visitation with the family will be 11:00am until 2:00pm Monday, August 12, 2024 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with the funeral service at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at Miller Cemetery in Christiana, TN
