Roy C. Otis, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother, age 65, of Rockvale, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Southern Hills Medical Center. Mr. Otis was born in Hartford, CT to the late Roy and Frances Otis. He was a member of Grace Church and as a music teacher he had a passion for drums. He was a participant with the Murfreesboro Hot Rod Club and attended cruise nights at the Avenue with his 1970 Chevelle. Everyone that knew him and was around him, loved him.
Mr. Otis was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Janice Otis; children, Jeffery (Lee-Anna) Otis of Middletown, CT; Christopher (Yaqueline Florez) Otis of East Hartford, CT; Amy Otis of Manchester, TN; brother, James Otis of East Hartford, CT; sister, Lennie Javinett (Leonard) of Old Lyme, CT; grandchildren, DJ, Colby, Rose, and Ella.
Service will be private.
