Please share a memory of Cira to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Cira Constance “Sara” Cardella, 77, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister passed away on October 22nd, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born February 4, 1947, to the late Ralph and Lucy Mulea in the bustling city of Manhattan, New York. Sara was a Certified Nurse Assistant by profession, exemplifying her nurturing nature. She was a woman of kindness and love. She loved to travel, taking frequent cruises and trips to Las Vegas. You could often find her on the dance floor or at the nickel slot machines playing for hours.
Sara was kind, nurturing, funny, and loving. She touched the lives of everyone she met, especially her children’s friends who also became like family to her. She loved family gatherings at the holidays, often spending hours preparing large meals. A devoted wife to Vinny for 56 years, they shared countless memories and built a life full of love. Married after only a few short months of dating, their love story was one of unwavering commitment and deep affection that served as an inspiration to all who knew them. She was a devoted mother, staying home to raise her 3 children during their younger years. She instilled love and integrity in her children, Lisa Cardella, Denise Lamazares (Carl), and Vincent Cardella, Jr. She was a source of love and guidance, always there for her children no matter the need.
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren who cherished her, Ashley Schiano, Taylor Lamazares, Ryan Lamazares, Vanessa Cardella, Vincent Cardella, III, and great-grandchildren Trenton Gibbs, Jr., and A'Liliana Gibbs. Each of them will carry forward her loving spirit, remembering her teachings and the moments of joy they shared.
Sara is also survived by her sister, Marie, who joins the family in mourning the loss of such a remarkable woman. Predeceased by her loving husband, Vinny, her parents, Ralph and Lucy, and brother, Anthony, Sara now reunites with them in eternal peace.
Sara’s life was a testament to the virtues of patience, generosity, and love. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, kind spirit, and the strength of her character. Her memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her. Your legacy will endure through the lives of your family and the many friends who love you. Rest in peace, Sara.
