John B. Adomitis, 90 of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Adomitis was born in Pawnee, IL to the late John and Mary Adomitis. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Adomitis was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joan Adomitis, and wife and mother of his children, Helen Adomitis. He is survived by his son, Dan (Johnine) Adomitis of Murfreesboro; daughter, Donna (Doug) Cummings of Cary, IL; grandchildren, Megan and Jon Beinlich. A Wake will be held Monday, September 17, 2012 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Matz Funeral Home, Mt Prospect, IL. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 10:00am at Matz Funeral Home, Mt Prospect, IL. Burial to follow at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery in Niles, IL. In lieu of flowers family ask for donations be made to Childrens Surgery International, www.childrenssurgeryinl.org.
