Earl Glen Wilson, age 73, of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mr. Wilson was born in Love, KY to the late Jakie D. and Lucy J. Wilson. He was a member of Northfield Blvd Church of Christ and a Real Estate Broker. He was a member American Legion, current Colonel on the staff of the Governor of Kentucky in the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and retired from the United States Navy. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Jenny Wilson, sisters, Geneva Woodcock, Sharon Wilson, and Ruby Woodcock. He is survived by his wife, Shiela Wilson of Murfreesboro; son, Richard Wilson of Louisville, KY; stepson, Jon (Kristen) Reames of Franklin; step daughter, Shannon (Bruce) McKinney of Tampa, FL; step grandchildren, John Tyler Reames, Mackenzie Reames, Janie Reames, Keeley Reames, Mason McKinney, Colton McKinney; sister, Sarah Tomes of Henryville, IN; brother, Kenneth Wilson of Elkton, KY; sister, Jeanette Camfield of Elizabethtown, KY; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 10:30am until the Celebration of Life at 12:30pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Shouse and Bro. David Bunting officiating.
