Today is my 9th year without my father and I read all these memories and condolences, I miss that time I have to with him. There is not a day that goes by where I don't pray for me to feel his presence. My dad was a man with an electric personality that I aspire to be like. My heartache will never be eased as I am without him. My infinite love goes all the way to heaven,
Your daughter,
Ella Harrell

Penny, I got to know Ben through playing softball for a few years while I lived in Nashville. A mutual friend recently called to tell me the news of Ben's passing, and I just wanted to extended my condolences to you and your family. I bought a softball bat from Ben in a parking lot once, and we joked that it was like some kind of drug deal. Ben had a good sense of humor. And I always appreciated the fact that he rounded up a softball team for a pre-game prayer, even when we weren't in a church league. I'm sorry for your loss and hope you'll find comfort in God's presence.
