Bessie Luster, 84 of Murfreesboro, passed away Monday, February 28, 2011 at NHC. Mrs. Luster was born in Davidson County to the late Hugh and Bessie Maupin. She was a homemaker and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Mrs. Luster was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Turner Luster, son, Donnie Stanley, daughter, Susie Carney, brother, Henry Maupin, grandchildren, Christopher Wright, Kenneth S. Richardson, and Kenneth W. Richardson. She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Bonny) Higgins; Edna Stanley; Linda Wright all of Murfreesboro; sister, Christine Ladd of Nashville; grandchildren, Annette Sharp; Michael Duke; Sharon Kardokus; Phillip Carney; Sunshine Smith; David Carney; Kevin Stanley; Angie Stanley; great grandchildren, Tabitha; Justin; Stratton; Alexis; Meredith; Alex; Arabella; Peyton; Chris; and Faith.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, March 01, 2011 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 02, 2011 at 1:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Dottie Tubb officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
