Indeed, the link Tom provides to a U.S. gov't report doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the claims when they are supported by the likes of Grassley and Helms whom themselves cite press reports about the drug trade. The NPR report seems to have as its main source a storekeeper in the U.S. who claims to have been in Km's inner circle at one time. Should I apologize for being dubious? As I said above, I don't doubt that all kinds of illegal activity goes on inside the North, some of it might even go on at the behest of a gov't desperately seeking foreign currency. But to say it's uncontroversial probably says more about the diplomatic stupidity of the DPRK as it does about the strength of the evidence.

Ms.Simmons will be truly missed. We had the pleasure of living next to Ms.Simmons for many years on Manson Pike. She introduced me to her awesome fried pies. She was full of love and kindness. I will never forget I go by Kevin and all those years she called me Kelvin and I didnt mind one bit. RIP your a beautiful angel in heaven now. We love you and will miss you!

I am truly sorry to hear of "aunt Rachael'" passing. I will always remember her great strength of character, wonderful stories and her laughter. She was a beautiful soul who will greatly be missed by all she has touched in her life.

Tera, I am so sorry about Mrs Simmons. She was the absolute best babysitter for my kids when they were little and taught them so much. They will never forget her praying while they huddled in the hallway of her trailer when a tornado was coming. David looked up and saw a picture of Jesus on the wall and he said he wasn't scared anymore. Just take comfort in knowing that she is with God now and I'm sure she is taking care of all the babies in Heaven! Love, Becky, David and Nick Roden
