I am so thankful I had the opportunity to work with Greg in the SICU at Vanderbilt. He was a wonderful co-worker and inspiration to all. He will be missed greatly.

We offer our sincere regrets to the Bettis family. A fellow Airman and extended Thunderbird family member has slipped the surly bonds of Earth but will live on through the many lives he influenced.

I had the privilege of knowing and working with Gregg for several years. There weren't many that were as good as he was when it came to making you feel comfortable when giving medical aid/shots. He was also one of the best men that I ever met and I dont think I have met many since that were of the caliber that he was. Sorry to hear that he passed and my prayers are with his family and all that knew him.

I share in your sorrow at this time. Gregg was one of a kind. He was one of the most sincere, authentic, loving people I have ever known. I have many fond memories of our life together at MTSU. Gregg was kind, patient, faithful and full of joy. My prayer for you is that God's peace will abide with you and that you will find comfort in God's presence through family and friends at this time.

Dear Karla and family, Sorry to hear of Greg passing away. I don't see you all much , but used to see Greg occasionally and will miss him. It seems like not long ago he was leading Awana. Looking forward to seeing Greg again in heaven. Sorry, I did not get to the funeral home until late after work and it was still packed and the line moving slow. It did not look like I would make it to the geust book by closing, so wanted to write something to you all here. If you all need anything let us know, jerry

It's been many years since I retired from the Air Guard, but I can still picture Gregg's huge smile. He brightened up any room he entered with his infectious smile and great sense of humor. Prayers of comfort and strength to Karla and family.
