Our deepest condolences on your loss. Tom will be greatly missed. Even with a firm hope for the future, death is still accurately described as an enemy. So we can't help but feel the void when someone we love dies. The Bible however, holds out a hope that we may see our loved ones again as John 5:28-29 says: all those in God's memory will be brought back to life with the opportunity to enjoy everlasting life here on a peaceful earth with all righteous ones.--Psalms 37:9-11. We hope this, along with your cherished memories of Tom, bring you comfort during this difficult time.

Tom was a great friend and mentor to me in the early years of my career in the Boy Scouts of America. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. Mr. Willhite was and continues to be a very special part of our family. As a kid, I spent many years at Boxwell Reservation, as my Dad was a part of Tom's staff. He made scouting , and most importantly, life - special, and was an inspiration to all who crossed his path. He will be missed, but his legacy will live on forever. James William Barr, Jr.
