Bonny Lewis Higgins 74 of Murfreesboro passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at St. Thomas of Rutherford Hospital. Mr. Higgins was born in Lewisburg to the late Logan L. and Ella Mae Higgins. Mr. Higgins was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Carol Higgins; children, Harold (Cindy) Higgins of Greenbriar; Chris Higgins of Gallatin; Lewis Higgins of Nashville; Gwen (Jenx) Hartman of Nashville; Mike Duke of Murfreesboro; Annette (Kevin) Sharp of Murfreesboro thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Oilphant; and Juanita Hance.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 14, 2013 from 11:00am until the funeral service at 1:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Dottie Tubb officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
