Gretchen Elizabeth Knaak, 33, of Rockvale, passed away Saturday, November 09, 2013 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Gretchen was born in Mobile, AL. She was a personal trainer and a member of World Outreach Church.
Gretchen was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jean Zerangue Tassin. She is survived by her husband, Atom Knaak of Rockvale; parents, Rick and Charlotte Tassin of Mandeville, LA; son, Riley Oliver Knaak; sister, Robin Tassin of Mandeville, LA; father in law and mother in law, John and Arlene Knaak of Gassaway; brothers in law and sisters in law, Mike and Kelly Jones of Murfreesboro; Deanna Vanek of Murfreesboro; Lisanne and Bill McLaurine of Gassaway; Christian and Lynn Knaak of Texas; grandparents, Samuel Oliver and Murial Roshko Ryniker; and Nelson T. Tassin.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 1:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Bush officiating.
In lieu of flowers family ask for donations to be made to any Regions Bank, Gretchen Knaak benefit fund-Savings Account.
