I would like to extend my condolences to the family during this difficult time. The God of comfort reassures us that he is near to those broken at heart (Psalm 34:18). Death stings and it hurts but it certainly does not end it all. So for a little while, your loved one will have to sleep in death until Jesus awakens him during the earthly resurrection; restoring James back to life, on a renewed Paradise earth (John 5:28, 29 Psalms 37:11, 29). Take comfort in these scriptures about the resurrection and believe one day you will see your loved one on earth again.

My deepest and sincere condolences to your family. It's not always easy to express how we feel when someone we love falls asleep in death. We know that death is a part of life, but sometimes it hits us unexpectedly the Bible stated that "death is an enemy" according to 1 Corinthians 15:26, it causes so many pains and uncertain thoughts. The Bible promises that one day death and sickness will no longer plague mankind. Rev. 21:1, 4. The resurrection hope on a new earth is our future, according to John 5:28,29. I pray these words will bring you comfort as it did in my life. May you continue to be comforted by family, friends and God’s word. Please visit jw.org for more comforting information.

Rene' I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband, best friend, soul mate. I didn't know Jimmy, but he must have been a wonderful man. I haven't seen you in years, but when you were little you used to come to my house with Helen and Alvin. I love you all and you are in my heart and prayers. Love, Evalyn Blythe

“Krishna was once asked what was the most miraculous thing in all creation, and he replied, "That a man should wake each morning and believe deep in his heart that he will live forever, even though he knows that he is doomed.” RIP Jimmy Williams. You will not be forgotten.
