To the family, I am sorry that I will not be able to come to the gathering Friday. I want each of you to know that I can truly empathize with you. I lost my mother, husband, brother, and then father within a few years of each other. Keep the memories of Roger alive by sharing them with family and friends. So many would love to help ease your pain, but alas there is no pill or cure for the pain you suffer right now. Just know that many care for each of you.
