Obituary of Marie Waddell

Marie Waddell, 82, of Murfreesboro, passed away Saturday, January 03, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. She was a longtime resident of Rutherford county born to the late Elby and Maymie Carroll. Mrs. Waddell was a former employee for the Mid Cumberland Resource Agency and was a member of the Advent Lutheran Church. Mrs. Waddell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Cornell Waddell; daughter, Linda Waddell; brother, Terry Carroll. She is survived by her son, Tommy Waddell; daughters, Barbara Yates and Teresa Kline, all of Murfreesboro; grandson, Daniel Kline and great granddaughter, Amber Harris. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday, January 05, 2009 at Roselawn Memorial Garden with Dennis Carroll officiating. Burial to follow. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 11:00 am - 1:30 pm Monday, January 05, 2009 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. The family asks in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to The Benevolent Fund at Believer's Chapel or The Challenge to Build Fund at Believer's Chapel, 1820 S. Rutherford Blvd Murfreesboro, TN 37130.
