Tommy Morris Jr., 46 of Murfreesboro passed away Sunday, January 4, 2008 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Mr. Morris was of the Protestant faith and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry C. England; aunt, Marianna Methvin; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Morris. He is survived by his father, Tom Morris Sr. of Lebanon; mother and step-father, Shirley and Wendell Hix of Murfreesboro; daughters, Macy Kathleen Morris of Murfreesboro; Jessica (Matt) Arnn of Watertown; Jacklyn Morris and fiance Rich of Shreveport; grandson, Blake Borgen; fiance, Nicole Merryman of Murfreesboro, her children, Renee Merryman and Ian Merryman; step-brother, Steve (Kristy) Hix of Murfreesboro; and grandmother, Betty England of Murfreesboro.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the service at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 07, 2009 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Holt officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
