The Collierville (TN) Historic Town Square Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Jam mourns with you and your family, Yvonne. That sweet angel band just added another musician to the many who have gone on before us. Steve's dad, Johnny Moon, was a frequent guest at the Tennessee Gentlemen Bluegrass Shack in Lucy, TN. The Shack, Troy Castleberry, his wife Carolyn, Johnny, and now Steve--all are gone. They have made their mark in the music world and it's a better place because of them. You all are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time in your lives.

Yvonne, You may not remember me but Frances and Malcom told me about Steve months ago and I e-mailed you about my husband who I lost in Nov. 2007 and to this day it is like yesterday that it all happened. I could tell you that the passisng of time helps but for me it has not. I'm so sorry for your loss and Steve was still very young and looked very young in the picture. He and I would have gotten along so well since I am a big bluegrass fan but that as well has faded. Ken and I went to a lot of festivals. I would have loved to hear Steve play. You and your family are in my prayers and my heart breaks for you all. God Bless. Janet

So much wonderful packed into such a short, but amazing life. God bless your family at this most difficult time. Our love and prayers are with you. Having met Steve at our class reunion I will say he is a very patient man who bravely went along with Yvonne's busy schedule, always with patience and undeniable support. And, Yvonne returned the favor many times over this past year. What love to share for so many years! An inspiration to us all.
